Established in 1963, Evan Lim & Co. Pte Ltd lead and excel in the forefront of the building and
construction industry with over 40 years of experience. Backed by our own team of highly efficient
personnel and professionals, we have the capacity and pride to undertake any demanding
projects of building and civil engineering works.

Achievements

  • Registered in Singapore's Building and Construction Authority's A1 (highest) category
    under “ General Building ” workhead with the ability to tender for public building projects
    with unlimited contract sum.

  • Registered in Singapore's Building and Construction Authority's B1 category under “Civil
    Engineering” workhead with the ability to tender for public civil engineering projects with
    contract sum up to 30 million Singapore dollars.

  • Awarded ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 Certification.
Our History

Evan Lim & Co. was established in 1963 as a General Building contractor. Through its first decade, the
company tendered for contracts with the statutory boards and gained a firm footing in the construction
industry by a commitment to customer satisfaction.  In the seventies, the company experienced steady
growth and started to handle larger projects with greater speed, whilst introducing mechanisation into
its operations.


Evan Lim & Co. Pte Ltd was incorporated on 14 May 1980 as a Private Limited company. The company
is registered in the Building and Construction Authority's A1 category under “ General Building ” and B1
category under “Civil Engineering” workheads. Over the years the company has successfully executed
many residential, institutional, commercial, military and industrial projects. Today, the company is
ranked among Singapore 's top contractors, with a paid-up capital of S$18 million.

Our company has a group of highly trained staff, inclusive of engineers, architects, quantity surveyors,
foremen and technicians who serve as concerted professionals with dedicated teamwork. We continue
to offer competitive service with commitment to quality and customer satisfaction as endorsed by the
Building and Construction Authority's ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 Certification.

In 2000, the company further diversified into property development through it's subsidiary companies. In
2006, the company launched it's first high-end residential project, Rhapsody on Mount Elizabeth and
sold out the project in six weeks. In 2007, the company incorporated a new business unit,                         
EL Development Pte Ltd (www.eldev.com.sg) to focus on its expansion into the property development
business.
